The general configuration allows you to configure the Amazon Alexa specific things such as interfaces, interaction model sensitivity or auto display card. Once you have created the config in auto mode or changed from manual to auto, you won’t be able to change it back to manual.
Steps for configuring AUTO mode:
- Invocation – the invocation of your Alexa skill is already pre filed, but you can change it
- Service ID – When the Skill ID field is empty, Convoworks will create a new skill on Amazon, in case you fill the Service ID field, Convoworks will try to retrieve information of the existing Alexa Skill
- Auto Display – Enable Auto Display if you want to display spoken text by Alexa on devices that have an Display
- Enable or disable Alexa Interfaces:
- Audio Player – this interface enables you to build an audio player skill
- Display Interface – this interface allows you to interact with events when the user has touched a list item or card action on Alexa display enabled device
Please note that other interfaces are not supported at this time and therefore they are disabled.
Now you’ll be able to propagate your Intents defined in Convoworks to Alexa Developer Console and make sure you catch the intents in the Workflow with Convoworks Intent Reader
